The Problem
Coach Junior, an internationally certified swimming instructor (ILS Lifeguard Pool, FECANAS affiliate) based in Yaoundé Ngousso, Cameroon, needed a professional digital presence to attract new students and streamline his class bookings. With over 1,000 students trained and 5+ years of experience, he required a website that would communicate his expertise, display his service offerings, and make it easy for parents and adults to get in touch. The challenge was to build a visually engaging site in French that would work seamlessly on mobile devices, since most of his target audience would browse on their phones.
What I Built
I designed and developed a fully responsive, French-language website for Coach Junior that serves as a complete digital storefront for his swimming instruction business. The site features a clean, modern aesthetic with a warm color palette, and is optimized for local search visibility in Yaoundé.
Key Features
- Hero Section with Statistics: A compelling landing section displaying key credibility metrics — number of students trained, success rate, and years of professional experience — with animated counters.
- Services Overview: Six distinct service offerings are presented: private home lessons, group classes, online coaching, weight loss & wellness programs, therapeutic swimming, and pool maintenance services.
- Transparent Pricing: A clear pricing table with monthly packages and per-session rates for three age groups (0–8 years, 9–17 years, 18+), plus a negotiable pool maintenance service.
- Photo & Video Gallery: An interactive gallery with lightbox functionality where visitors can click thumbnails to view enlarged images, along with embedded video content showcasing training sessions.
- Testimonials Section: Real client reviews (e.g., from parents) that build trust and social proof.
- Contact & Booking: A contact section with a direct inquiry form and a clear call-to-action for booking the first session.
